This project was a fun one, the client had a set of 3 wheels that were in a rare fitment and as such difficult to find a 4th wheel centre for. So, we designed and made a single one off wheel centre to match exactly the remaining 3 the client had, well sort of…. You see, he wanted to make a feature of the one wheel we made as a show piece, it was decided to leave it unpainted and machine the sides of the spokes in a way that the cutting action of the CNC milling machine would leave equally spaced step over lines horizontal in relation to the face of the wheel in a perfectly uniform way. It’s all in the details.
