These beautiful split rim wheels were designed and made for a client building a road legal 2003 Ferrari F1 car replica, for suitable road tyre availability the iconic Pirelli Cinqurato P7’s were chosen in the classic Lamborghini Countach size of 345-35-15’s (for the rears).
This drove the wheel size to be a 15-inch diameter instead of the then 13-inch wheels used in F1 at that time, so in scaling up the styling to suit the new 15 inch diameter while maintaining the look of the original 13’s we created a set of bespoke split rim wheels with hidden hardware and an additional rim piece to give the period correct look of the deep well section synonymous of F1 wheels from this time, the details really count.
